PROSPER INTERGENERATIONAL DAYCARE
This was the first project where we put all the steps together from conceptual development of the execution of renderings and floor-plans. It was also our first partner project.
Prosper Daycare works by merging both the young and the old who need to be cared for during the day allowing them to Grow, Interact, and Explore. Prosper creates a safe place for the elderly and the young to interact and learn from one another allowing for harmony within Circle of Life.
As you walk into the daycare you are meet with the reception desk that has direct eyes sights to the entrance allowing for a secure space, providing those being dropped off and their families with peace of mind. There are two offices and a n employee kitchen area at the front as well.
The two perspectives of the entry area, done by my partner for the project and interactive learning space , showcase an aquarium and interactive learning screens where children are free to play and learn. The interactive screen teaches children about the types of fish in the aquarium and plants along the walls in the hall way. Also, along the hall way there is a nurses office, laundry, juice bar and lounge seating spaces. As the hallway opens up there is a multi use space to the left. There are three class rooms , a S.T.E.M. room , Library and Fitness room all radiate from the central nature center that is adjustable to the Daycares needs. Lastly down the hallway for some peace and quite is the great room for the aging population to relax.
Outside there is a half- Basketball court , full sized soccer field, a natural play ground, yard games, gardening and exterior seating and deck space.
